Where we've come from
In 1994, John Taylor formed Grove Fresh with the ambition of developing a range of chilled organic fruit and vegetable juices that would inspire and encourage a more organic way of life.
It took John two years to persuade fruit growers in Florida to convert to organic and to establish the supply chain to the UK. But thanks to his unswerving belief in the organic life, in 1996 we became the first company to offer organic juice in the UK.
Soon we established ourselves as the UK’s leading provider of organic juices - which is why, to this day, we call ourselves The Organic Juice Company.

Fully committed to every aspect of the organic life, we’re dedicated to creating increasingly imaginative and inventive new juices and organic products.
Nothing is more important to us than the natural, organic goodness of what we offer, which is why we only ever produce juices from 100% organically grown fruit and vegetables and never from concentrates which are diluted with 80% water.
Through our enthusiasm (not to mention our delicious products) we hope to encourage as many people as possible to experience the tastes, pleasures and benefits of living an
organic life.
We love the earth our fruit lives on. Healthy, fertile soil is at the heart of everything we do. Our orchard growers are committed to nurturing the groves the way nature intended so that the patchwork of wildlife can thrive; from beetles and bats to badgers and butterflies. Our groves act as magnets for flora, fauna, and an amazingly diverse range of species: from the birds above to the fish in the nearby streams.
We know that you only want the best for the people you care about. We work hard for Mother Nature so that you can enjoy the benefits of drinking our delicious juices at home, helping to sensitively preserve nature for you, your children, grandchildren and generations to come.
We are keen to source the best quality, freshest organic fruit for our organic juices and smoothies. This often means identifying the best organic ‘hotspots’ where land has been free from pesticide contamination for many years. We do everything we can to make sure we support these organic communities, allowing genuine organic farming methods to continue. We are committed to establishing long-term relationships with our farmers, and work closely with passionate growers in countries such as Italy, Greece, Lithuania and Germany to bring you the variety of flavours you and your family love.
